What we collect
When you submit a quote, contact us, or onboard as a carrier, we collect the information you provide: name, company, email, phone, load details, equipment, origin and destination, payment information (for carriers), and any documents you choose to upload.
We also collect basic operational data automatically — IP address, browser type, pages visited — through standard web analytics on this site.
How we use it
We use the information you provide to quote and operate your freight, to communicate with you about loads in progress, to onboard you as a carrier or shipper, to process payments, and to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with lead generators, marketers, or unrelated third parties. We do not autodial, cold call, or text you for marketing purposes.
Who we share with
We share information only with the operational partners required to move your freight: carriers, customs brokers (US and international), permit offices, insurance providers, payment processors, and our hosted software providers (email, analytics, CRM, accounting, error monitoring, and the AI providers that power our website assistant). When you chat with our AI assistant, your messages are processed by these AI providers to generate a response. Each partner receives only the information necessary for its role.
Accounting integrations (QuickBooks Online)
LASLINT Operations Hub, our freight-operations platform, can connect to Intuit QuickBooks Online so that freight billing and payables stay in sync with the accounting system of record. This section describes that connection.
How access is granted. The connection exists only after an authorized user completes Intuit's own OAuth authorization screen and grants access. We never ask for, receive, or store an Intuit username or password. Intuit issues us an access token instead.
What we access. Only the accounting records needed to reconcile freight: the company identifier of the connected QuickBooks company, customers and vendors, invoices and bills, payments applied against them, and the items and amounts on those documents. We do not access payroll, banking credentials, or employee records.
Why. To create and update invoices for loads we moved, to record carrier bills and payments, to reconcile margin, and to keep the two systems from drifting apart. That is the only purpose. We do not sell QuickBooks data, do not use it for advertising or profiling, do not use it to train AI models, and do not share it with anyone beyond the hosting and error-monitoring providers that run the platform under contract.
How it is protected. Access tokens are stored encrypted, server-side only, and are never sent to a browser. Data moves over TLS. Access inside the platform is role-restricted to the accounting and management roles that need it.
Disconnecting and deletion. You can disconnect at any time from within the platform or from the Apps screen in QuickBooks Online. On disconnect we stop synchronizing immediately, revoke the token with Intuit, and delete the stored token. Accounting data already written into your QuickBooks company stays in your books — it is yours. Copies cached in our platform are deleted within 60 days of disconnection, except records we are required to keep as financial records under the retention rule below. To request earlier deletion, email management@landairseaint.com.
Intuit is a separate controller of the data in your QuickBooks company and its own privacy notice applies to what Intuit does with it.
How long we keep it
Operational records (load files, BOLs, PODs, invoices) are kept for at least 7 years to meet financial and regulatory record-keeping requirements. Contact information from prospects who do not become customers is purged within 24 months.
Your rights
If you are a California resident (CCPA) or a resident of a state with similar privacy law, you have the right to know what information we hold about you, to request a copy, to correct inaccuracies, and to request deletion (subject to legal record-keeping obligations). Email management@landairseaint.com to make a request.
If you are an EU/UK resident (GDPR), you have additional rights including portability and objection to processing. The same email applies.
Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS site-wide) and at rest in our database, access controls on operational systems, and least-privilege principles for employees and partners.
