How quickly does LASLINT respond to a quote request?
Within the hour during business hours, and within a few hours overnight. A named coordinator works your load from intake through delivery — not a queue, not a bid board.
Do I have to set up an account before I can get a quote?
No. Submit a quote at /quote/ or message dispatch on WhatsApp and we'll get the rate back to you the same day. We only formalize a shipper account when you're booking your second load.
Are permits and escorts priced into the quote, or added later?
Priced in. Heavy-haul, oversize, and superload rates from LASLINT include permits, route surveys, and escort fees. The number you see in the quote is the number you ship — no surprise charges at the dock.
What kinds of loads do you specialize in?
Heavy haul (80,000+ lb), oversize and superload, cross-border US ↔ MX and US ↔ CA, ocean to Africa (7 named ports), and ocean to Latin America. We take on the loads other desks turn down.
How is my cargo insured?
As a broker, LASLINT doesn't self-insure cargo — the carrier on your load does. Before pickup we verify every carrier carries current auto liability (min $1M) and cargo insurance matched to your cargo's value, with higher limits required for heavy haul and superloads, and LASLINT named as additional insured.
